Vault Release ㅷ (Legacy Edition)
Forged in the same fires as Daybreak ⌬, this companion piece explores the angles of select characters from the cinematic universe of Marvel & DC comics; mainly villains to keep with the theme of Halloween. Vault Release has found its final form on the 2nd Anniversary this Hallows’ Eve! It took two renditions but it’s finally arrived under the candle wax of an ㅷ symbol which solidifies the tag line: “The greatest Halloween project ever recorded.” A bold statement considering the entire lexicon of music that’s been released but I stand by that. It’s truly masterful and echoes a carnivalesque and wondrous night at the circus. Among its eighteen records, seventeen villains are explored with details from their etymology often woven with my personal narrative. Some have even traveled through alternate timelines due to Doctor Strange trifling with the multi-verse. The writing sees double and triple entendres causing a daze for listeners. Follow the guidance of dimly-lit pumpkins to reach the circus tent. Rey Morado, Ashtin Martin, the bum. and ClariSh bring just the perfect textures, colours and depths towards this infamous event. The soundscape stretches from the umbra and rests somewhere in the vertigo of silence found between suites. Wonder never ceases when everything is encountered anew. The influx of movement between space and time means that any and every experience is automatically renewed upon its second coming. So bring out your premium fits and come down, or listen for the ages as the project is time-honoured. The audio is mastered by none other than Jordan Taylor who deserves a lifetime achievement award for his masters on Vault ㅷ (and the forthcoming SSTR). Everything is meticulously arranged and vibrant with the spirit of October. You’ll find yourself in the frequencies, navigating familiar and unfamiliar gates. Join us as Bessie Smith sets the tone for Gotham City’s annual circus. Listen deeply while sharpening and broadening your attention span (approx. 8 second max for humans). Let the tradition of Halloween live on by playing this all year round; or particularly each Hallows’ Eve. Keep your seat and do remember, it's never too late to solve a riddle..
