Long Bio:

Forged from the darkest minerals, Derik Julien is a self-renewing artist and writer (Canada). He’s been described as a mythical creature choosing words that carry the energy of a philosopher. His work examines proportions out in society, inner worlds and light or tumultuous trials of the heart and mind.

Steady influenced by the east wind; a place where brevity and minimalism are encouraged. As a mystic and wayfarer, he’s on a never ending journey towards the muse. While cherishing life, he embraces the unconscious processing of ideas as they shape. Dexs’ artistry continues to evolve through fearless experimentation and notebook observations.

A catalog of masterpieces ahead of their time, with, destabilized harmonies in a pocket for rare ears and a silver pen with origins bridging galaxy clusters. Even his esteemed collaborators can be at odds with the visionary frequencies as they emerge.

He’s collaborated on high-concept art with bucket list artists Skyzoo, Blu, Sa-Roc, eLZhi, sene, Cavalier, Hymphatic Thabs, R.A.P.
