SOUL SATURN TR (IMMORTAL WORK)

by Dex

Soul Saturn Trace Revolution takes place one thousand and fifteen years in the future. I’ve had a compulsion to stitch this project together for years and have worked on it slowly and meticulously. My seventh studio album is my Immortal Work, considered my magnum opus, a posthumous album created before transcendence, a soundtrack, an exit-swan song masterpiece. I wish I could describe my art in Björk-level detail but these words will have to suffice. The fourteen track conceptual journey is broken down into two sides (1-5 = Side A), (6-11 = Side B) and three Bonuses 12-14. This is what the spine of an experimental electronic album curated by Dex sounds like. It contains salutation towards my 2013 debut album in structure, by way of reoccurring interludes throughout its ecosystem. A rare collector’s map to the ringed planet was made by Rey Morado to accompany the listening experience. Every guest appearance is a character in the story conceptually and brings magnanimous energy to the project. The album’s sound mastering was handled by Jordan Taylor who outdid himself here on every track through his sound architecture. It doesn’t take long before you realize you’re taking part in an EPIC journey and that 𝖒𝚎𝖒𝕺𝔯𝛾 𝜾𝖒𝔭𝔯𝜾𝗇𝔱. was only a primer. I wanted to capture this kind of feeling of being on planet Saturn in the year 3037 amidst simultaneous challenges. What was prophesied by the magi has come to be. A prophesy of secret societies, viruses, disappearances, holograms, circulation bans, remote dune dwellers, the genesis of peace, desert craters from extraterrestrial contact, accommodating bowlees, dust storms, extinct flower stems, rituals etc. Everything is unorthodox and encased in futurism as it emerges. Soul Saturn Trace Revolution is an album like no other and do remember, live up to yourself at every occasion. Oh the complexities of prevailing beauty.
