Entry #2 (Findings from Research Level 1)
My new found doctor recommends starting on a migraine diary while using vitamin supplements like B2 and Magnesium having heard about a 50% decrease in migraines after just one month of daily consumption at 4 x 100 mg. She suggests trying a combination of Tylenol Ultra-Relief and Advil Extra Strength at the same time when a bad migraine is happening. Research suggests that suffering with migraines could be related to having a rare form of lyme disease. Some users report results of having a vitamin B12 deficiency. One user online reported results of migraine decrease by switching his diet to 95% unprocessed, 95% vegetarian, 65% raw, no sugar, lots of water, coconut oil and omega 3 supplements. Another user reported the following as her version of a migraine diet: almonds, spinach, quinoa, asparagus, mushrooms, fish, bread, cereal, crackers, potatoes, carrots, rice, pasta, ginger, sweet potato, avocado, grains like sunflower seeds, mangos, roasted veggies, salads and various fruits. Along with these suggestions, they talk about avoiding the following: bananas, yogurt, beans, oranges and soda pop.
