Entry #11 (Findings from Research Level 10)
There are multiple bad reviews on the BOTOX injections treatment so I'm glad I didn't give that one a try. One user in particular says that even after 9 treatment sequences there were no results. That's one injection per month translating to almost a year's worth. The big question is how does one cope and endure with their migraines and continue on with their daily activities. The thought of continuously working towards your aspirations without being held back by your suffering. It seems like a tough question as migraines can highly affect your lifestyle and decisions. Some migraine attacks can lead to cognitive ways of impairing thinking capabilities. I had a car accident a few years back on the highway 401 westbound heading towards Cambridge, Ontario. There were definitely elements of whiplash as my car was rear ended by an SUV traveling over 120 km/h. That may very well be an added element to my current issues but keep in mind that I was 3 years old when my migraines first started. These are a few products that are working for some users around the world: 1.5 mg of Pizotifen, Depakote, Rizatriptan, Sumatriptan (this one in particular has a lot of good reviews), Pregabalin, Topomax and Verapamil. I guess the overall key is to keep an airtight monitoring system of your migraines. I am currently using the app called HeadApp (pro version) and am hoping that it will determine trends and discover what is necessary to aid my situation. If you want to download the same one I use from the app store; the logo has a blue-skinned woman with an orange background.
