Entry #15 (Findings from Research Level 14)
This section is dedicated to known strategies, treatments and solutions that are working for many users around the world. The first suggestion is to constantly regulate your body temperature. This could mean to remove or add layers of clothing or to shift your mind off of overheating or freezing depending on the conditions. You want to ideally promote more circulation and not impede by keeping things constrictive. Personally, I'm able to wear even a long sleeve shirt on a hot summer day but have to undo a top button sometimes or find shade/ salvation when possible. Sleep is very-very-very important for migraineurs. Missing one day or so can result in an unbearable 10/10 migraine. Good practice here will re-align your circadian rhythm and keep your body in it's optimal form. Some more strategies include deep breathing exercises and meditation. The idea here is to regulate your cerebral blood flow and decrease stressors. Before sleeping each night, it was suggested by a wiccan practitioner that applying essential oil specifically peppermint oil to one's forehead each night before bed will help if done consistently. If one doesn't have any essential oil, it was suggested to use Vicks vapo-rub instead. Oxygen is good you can never have too much so promote as many outside activities as you can. More strategies include writing as a way to deal with emotions and feelings. The Cryohelmet ice therapy product is said to be of aid to many and features built-in ice packs.
