Entry #13 (Findings from Research Level 12)
Throughout my research, I've come to realize exactly what I suffer from. With all the various forms of migraines out there (over 100), I suffer specifically from C.T.M. (Chronic Tension Migraines). These tension types are usually due to the contraction of neck and scalp muscles as a response to stress. However they are also subject to being affected by dopamine induced conditions (fluctuations in Neurochemistry like hormones etc.), altitude induced conditions like varying barometric air pressure (natural weather fluctuations or focused settings like climbing a mountain or taking an airplane etc.), movement induced conditions like running, walking, driving, roller coasters etc.), sinus induced conditions like having a cold, flu or bodily virus affecting the sinuses. A co worker mentioned another condition and that is the dry eye induced condition of having dry eyes and needing to take eye drops before a migraine forms and takes over. Migraine sufferers are 3 times as likely to suffer from severe jawbone disorder. It won't cause a migraine attack but may increase the severity and frequency of attacks. The disorder is called Temporomandibular disorder. We may also adapt a Musculoskeletal disorder called Cervicalgia (neck pain). The constant repetition of paramount pains from migraine attacks increases the sensitivity to pain (brain hypersensitivity). If a migraine lasts more than 72 hours with less than 4 pain-free hours while away, the sufferer is at an increased risk of a stroke.
